Secretarial Services pertains to getting your company in compliance with the Companies Act 2008 (Act 71 of 2008) on a statutory and secretarial level. The services include but is not limited to:

  • Annual Returns to Cipc
  • Director, or member Changes.

Independent Reviews

An Independent Review is a limited assurance engagement where the practitioner performs primarily inquiry and analytical procedures to obtain sufficient evidence as the basis for a conclusion on the financial statements, expressed in accordance with the requirements of ISRE 2400(Revised).

An independent review is performed by a practitioner that was not involved by the preparation of the financial statements.

Independent Reviews are not required for owner managed profit companies but can be performed voluntarily if the public interest score is less than 350 and the financial statements are independently compiled, or if the public interest score is less than 100.

However, and Independent Review is required where a company is not owner managed.
